Omega first applied “Genève” in 1953 to celebrate its record-setting 30 mm observatory movements—so on early examples like this ref. 2903-3 with Original crosshair dial, the script is a badge of chronometric prestige, not an entry-level line name. Movement serial 1563••52 (full number in the buyer’s documentation) ⇒ Omega tables date production to 1956; consistent with Cal. 267’s era and ref. 2903 case style.
